Computer Viruses and Norton Anti Virus question.?

My Norton Anti Virus software is expired and my computer seems to have viruses. When I renew Norton Anti Virus will it get rid of most of these viruses? Can Anyone suggest anything I could download to clean my computer up?

You could do an online scan and clean up. Google MicroTrend Housecall and then choose options to scan for all types of malware.

Or you could download and update a free anti-virus program (free for personal use) and one or more free (for personal use) spyware detection and removal programs and run these to clean your system.

If Housecall finds one or more problems it cannot resolve, then you will need to do it yourself. After making sure you have updated virus and spyware protection programs...
