Did viruses and cells evolve from the same protocell, or did viruses evolve separately?

Are viruses bits of that protocell that broke off and started living on it own, or did viruses evolve from someother source?what are your ideas?

There are many types of viruses and it is unlikely that they all have the same origin. Generally, viruses are assumed to be DNA fragements or cellular organels that have ''deserted''. But for details, see below:

viruses removed themself becuse there more complex than any than theleading cause of bacteria!
viruses are extraneous lead to fever or cold etc,Undercerain atmosphearic contamination at different places these come up and has to suffer for certain period.Even styrong persons get it .timely medicins will take care off.
There many different kinds of viruses, and most of them are species-specific. It it thought that viruses are renegade genes, selfish DNA (or RNA) interesting only in replication.
viruses are made solely of proteins, so perhaps they formed separately of the protocell from the same organic materials
viruses aren't cells so i would say no. essentially, no.
It's really hard to know, and a lot of this is based on the virus mode of reproduction. Pieces of host genomes are constantly mixing with virus genomes, making comparisons to other species of organisms inconclusive.
