Viruses & lytic/lysogenic cycles?

Viruses can carry out a lytic or a lysogenic cycle.

Compare %26 contrast the lytic %26 lysogenic cycles of viral infection. What are the similarities %26 differences between them?

Why are cancer viruses are more likely to carry out a lysogenic cycle?

Viruses %26 lytic/lysogenic cycles?adware

lytic - invades and destroys the cells

destroys current DNA and uses cell for factory to create viruses that eventually destraoy the cell (lyse the cell)

Lysogenic - is more stealth it combines DNA with host DNA and passes on viral DNA by replication

First of all not all cancers are viral, but viral cancer would have an advantage by being lysogenic because of its affect on the cell cycle and replication of DNA. Cancer affects the regulatory checkpoints in the cell cycle thereby allowing uncontrolled growth by hyper replication.

this was so confusing to learn for me this but i'll try to help u

lytic is active and lysogenic is not???
