How do I remove viruses which my virus guard as detected whilst scanning my computer??

I hav a virus guard, which scans my computer. It has detected 2 viruses, but I dont kno how to get rid of d viruses. can anyone pls tell me to how to. The virus guard I use is eTrust EZ Antivirus.

Whatever program you use, you usually have to select the items from the list and either quarantine or delete them.

If you're not sure how to do it check the Help menu in the program.

Or check out their website and see if theres a help forum there, or FAQ's.

Hopefully someone who uses it will post and give you more specific details.

do a full system scan in safe mode, if the viruses are in your system 32 folder, you will have a better chance the software will remove them in safe mode.
If you know the name of the viruses you have, go to http://vil.nai.com/vil/averttools.aspx
It should delete them automatically.
You may be having a virus or spyware installed on your PC. Norton, AVG , Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at

maybe it need to be re configured to run in the back ground, while you do other things
