I just want somebody to explain to me the process of how they use a virus as a biological weapon....i heard that USA used ebola virus as a biological weapon during the cold war...does that mean they let the virus infect the enemies? and how do they control the virus and do that? is there a possibility that they might lose control over the virus and they themselves get infected? explain to me how countries use viruses as biological weapons plz

they release a pathogen into a concentrated area of enemy forces, the idea is distance from this event will provide savety but that notion is false. especially due to public transit ie Airports, those who release deadly pathogens stand a real risk of self infection either directly or days, or weeks or years later. this is a horrible subject

yes they let the virus infect the enemy thats how it works. the risk of it is it could get out of controll. thats why before hadn they take precautions to evacuate the people they dont want infected adn post extra secutiry so as to almost quarentine.

no1 really uses biological weapons. im prety sure its gainst the geneva convention. but the military gas masks are NBC certafied. NBC means Nuclear Biological Chemical meaning they filter out and prtect from radioactive particles viri and bacteria and chemical poisions.
