For Avast Anti-Virus Virus Chest, Is deleting the viruses good enough?

For Avast Anti-Virus Virus Chest, Is deleting the viruses good enough for completely getting them off your computer?

Well, yes and no :)

1. As long as system restore is running, Virus might still be in the restore folders and be missed by Avast. Thus anti-virus programs suggest switching restore off when they repair your files, to avoid re-infection of the system.

2. Always go for ''Repair'' and not ''Delete'' when possible, as some files are not overwrited, but just infected with viruses and you want to have old files back for working system. Quarantine files that can not be repaired, and delete them after couple of days when you have checked that everything runs perfectly. Quarantined files are not dangerous.

3. Any anti-virus might miss some files ( for new viruses) and your PC will get re-infected again, thus you cant say that deletion of any file will surely solve all problems.

yes
I agree with Fallen. I have also used Avast for over 4 years without any problem. Deleting a found virus will remove it from your computer. Go for it!
Paramore is correct; quarantine before delete.
