So I typed in ''Define: Hegemony'' into google today and I received a screen that said your query looks similar to what is inputted by viruses. This perplexed me slightly as I have typed in this exact same query in before and gotten results. Do I have a virus on my computer? Or is this some new protocol from google?

Remove the space after the : and it might help. The other thing is that sometimes Google reacts if you send several queries very quickly. I've seen this message as well on occasion.
