I have Viruses in my computer please help?

I do not have any Anti-Virus software in my computer. Please give me some suggestions on how i can get rid of these viruses.. are there any cheap fixes to get rid of viruses? I'm using a Wireless laptop Presario V2000 Compaq.

I use AVG, Ad-Aware and Spybot Search and Destroy. It is always good to have a mixture of programs because while none are perfect, you can keep your system clean with a few. The ones I use are all free.
