Before you run your antivirus program, you have to get rid of all your restore points, otherwise the virus will still be inbedded in one of the restore points,Click on start, then right click on computer, then click on properties when the menu drops down, next click on system restore from the top, next click on the turn off system restore box, reboot your computer so the commands take effect, run your antivirus program,go thru the same procedure as before, but this time click on the turn off system restore to remove the check mark and make your system restore active again, reboot once again so the commands take effect.
I have a real problem with free virus programs. The fact is that they detect or supposedly detect viruses, but you need to buy the not free version to have the viruses removed. YOU can go out and buy a Norton Antivirus program and install that, or if you want you can F-disk your drive -- XP is listed as Non dos partition -- and then format, reinstall windows and updates, and drivers.
The first file is from the Trojan Alemod B. The second is from the Trojan Alemod I. A Trojan is not a Virus or Spyware. It is a competely seperate piece of malicious software that installs viruses, spyware and adware.
