Well the Trojans might comeback so scan just in case and get a something to back up your anti-viurs like
SUPERantispyware
http://www.superantispyware.com/superant...
it gets rid of the tough trojans for good
your usb drive might be infected so scan the files in it to make sure.
Keep a sharp look out for strange computer behavior that points to signs of a virus that has managed to escape your anti-virus

run this free online scan to be safe. avg isn't the best at removing them. http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ and disable system restore first. they hide in it and resurface latter. then start system restore after scan is complete.this scan takes time so be patient, but it digs deep to find them. good luck.
Viruses use clever tactics to open IE when Firefox is runnong, so they can self-propagate. They do propagate onto USB drives, so you should scan them before putting them back ino your computer.
the only real problem I have had with this virus thing is that it can and will destroy everything you have in your system. I mean, the hard drive, your spooling mechanism and above all, all and any program you have at your disposal. The programs that help your system run at top peak. Transferring files and programs can become a freight train for any virus that is, can and willfully decide you are its next main target!
