Viruses and two hard drives with different names!?

Hello,

I was wondering if you have two internal hard drives in one system, and you get a virus, will they affect both the hard drives or just one?

I was told that most viruses only affect the (C:) Drive.

So if you have two, and it is a different name(in example, D:), will it affect that hard drive as well?

Thanks in advance!

Correct most viruses only infect your operating system which for most people is there C: drive. Thats not so say it didn't copy itself to your D: drive but since there is no operating system on there, it really wont have any effect.
